Led Zeppelin - II

Catalog # Atlantic - SD 8236

This is the original 1969 Robert Ludwig HOT MIX...This is the "W" variation which means the lacquers were from Audiodisc...

Dead Wax Info =

Matrix / Runout (Side A Runout Variant 8): ST-A-691671-A P LW W AT RL Matrix / Runout (Side B Runout Variant 8): ST-A-691672-C LW RL SS W AT

Media = VG. Visually, the record is VG. It has a number of light angel haris on either side, and one feelable mark towards the end of the groove on side A, track 1 which is Whole Lotta Love. If you are looking for perfect sound from this VG record, you are looking in the wrong place; if you are looking for a middle of the road original copy of the RL hot mix on both sides to get a feel for what it actually sounds like, and something that can be overwhelmingly enjoyed, then this one might be for you. There is a small skip toward the beginning of track 1 on side A, and another small skip toward the beginning of track 2 on side A, as well. On side B there is a small skip toward the beginning of track 2, as well as one towards the end. Other than those few small affronts, the rest of the album plays well. Some light noise in-between some of the tracks, but nothing that overwhelms the music. All in all, a totally average original copy of the Led Zeppelin II RL Hot Mix!!!

Sleeve = G. Gatefold is intact, and presents relatively well...The bottom of the sleeve is split about 60% of the way across, and of course one cannot ignore the blue heart, and green peace signs that have been added to the cover's iconic art.

All records are visually graded ONLY unless specifically stated. This one has been sonically graded; for specifics see the detailed descriptions provided above...

I grade using Goldmine Standards. I never use the grade Mint for anything, ever.

I use brand new mailers, sleeves, and inserts to make sure your record lands your way in the same shape it was sent out in.

Rest assured, I know how to package, as well as how to accurately grade an LP. Please check my feedback if that is something that concerns you.

Don't agree with my grade? Don't like something else about your record? Returns are happily, and enthusiastically accepted, but I don't play the "partial refund" game.
