A copy of the very scarce Mosaics featuring Michael Rabin and Leon Pommers on piano. This is the mono release. To my ears the better sounding release. The piano is punchier, more percussive as it should be. Rabin's violin is more direct and clean. For small sonatas, duets, trios, chamber music the mono release will provide a different, sometimes better reproduction. It is up to the listener.
This may be the rarest of Rabin's titles, an unusual assortment of small-scope pieces that highlight Rabin's emotional playing in a very tight setting. The Rabin technique is always there, there are a few showpieces - Paganini, etc. - on this release, but this is a more intimate selection.

I have stored this lp as all my others, in plastic, sandwiched by cardboard in a dark, cool, smoke-free storage area.
I am an experienced collector, buyer and seller and will ship with Mighty Music Mailer as it dependably protects corners and edges. It's your choice but I do not like standard boxed mailers - one drop en route and your lp jacket is permanently damaged. If you're still picky like me, special shipping requests for expensive items is available upon request.
