to see my other auctions featuring well over 1000 records consisting of jazz, funk, soul, reggae, gospel, etc. LPs along with northern soul, funk, reggae, hip hop, electro, R&B, etc. 45s and 12" including lots of Blue Note, Impulse, promos, private pressings, sealed copies and audiophile labels.  The vast majority of this collection is of a vintage AAA (all analog) provenance.

The Fine Print:

SHIPPING IS AUTOMATICALLY COMBINED.  THERE IS NO NEED TO REQUEST AN INVOICE UNLESS YOU ARE IN CANADA.

45s are professionally cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine using high quality (alcohol-free) L'Art du Son concentrated solution with deionized water. All 45s are conservatively graded under strong artificial light. The grade assigned is a visual assessment of the playing surfaces. All pressings are vintage pressings (not modern reissues) unless otherwise noted. I pay top dollar for quality record collections (classical, jazz, rock, punk, indie, latin etc.).  If you are interested in selling please contact.

I grade conservatively using the Goldmine grading scale.  There is no such thing as a "mint" record, near mint (NM) is my highest grade.

NM > VG++ > VG+ > VG > VG- > G+ > Good > Poor

NM  -  Playing surfaces will look new with no sings of mishandling.  Possibly unplayed.  

VG++  -  At most a few imperfections that have little to no effect on play.  Possibly unplayed as well.

VG+  -  Still a great-looking record with slightly more imperfections.

VG  -  Even more imperfections that may add some backround noise in parts.

VG-/G+/G/P - I won't sell too many LPs that fall into these grades, but there will be a progression downwards from VG depending upon the severity of the damage.  These LPs will be play-tested at least in part to ensure they don't skip.

Covers follow the same grading scale.

I don't generally grade inner sleeves, but if this information is important to you, please ask!  I will make a note above if the LP is accompanied with a generic (usually plain white), company (usually with ads) or custom-printed (an inner sleeve made specifically for that release) inner sleeve.
