Mint (M): No marks, no faults, as if just left the record shop; perfect in any aspect.
Near Mint (NM): Looks new, plays perfect.
Excellent (EX+) - No scratches, no visible scuff marks. Possible crackle at start. Plays great.
Excellent (EX) - Virtually invisible possible scuff marks. Possible crackle or two. Plays great.
Excellent (EX-) - A fine mark that does not effect play with possible virtually invisible scuff marks. Possible crackle or two. Plays great.
VG++ - few light marks that do not effect play. Probable crackle here and there but very minimal.VG+: Very minor light scratches, odd scuff mark but retaining original lustre. Well looked after. Occasional crackles.
VG: Number of scratches and scuff marks; spindle marks. Occasional audible pop and crackle.
