The full proceeds of this album is for the Stoney Creek and Blue Springs Primitive Baptist Churches of Elizabethton, Tenn., which are in the Washington Regular Primitive Baptist Association founded in the year of 1811. Five members from each church make up the group. They are Elders Kermit Hinkle, Roy McGlothlin, Carl Campbell, and Bro. Mike Garland. Also sisters Hattie Blevins, Allie Mae Taylor, allo, Ida Williams, Mossie Garland Nellie Wood and Rose Hinkle. These songs have been sung in this manner and cherished by our parents and our great grand parents for many years. They represent in word and song the innermost feelings we have when the tasks of the day have allowed us a few moments for meditation. The “good-old-time religion is songs, sweet fellowship and doctrine in our churches today has been handed down from generation to generation, leading back to Christ our Lord, which is Salvation by Grace.
