I AM the RESURRECTION And The LIFE Junior Church Service Actual service recorded live, First Baptist Church - Hammond, Ind., March 18, 1973, with over 2600 present - over 300 saved. with the one and only Jim Vineyard Director, "B" and "C" Junior Churches, and world's largest bus ministry, (currently averaging over 5000 & on buses. During the fall of 1972, First Baptist Church began the "B" Preaching Service, which begins at 12:30 P.M. each Sunday. Before that time, these "B" riders had gone to preaching first, then Sunday School after all preaching was over. As you listen to this recording, you will hear live, exactly as it happens, the “World's Largest" Junior Church Service. On the Sunday this recording was made, over 2600 were present in this service. When the invitation was given, over 400 responded, with 348 receiving Jesus Christ as Saviour. Nationwide, Bus Ministries have caused the need for aggressive local churches to begin Junior Churches. With the breakdown in homes as it is, with the rebellious attitude of youngsters as it is, and with the growth of Bus Ministries, it is almost an imperative that this happen. Over 100 years ago, the great D.L. Moody conducted a similar service in his Sunday afternoon "Mission Sunday School". He brought in the urchins of the street for this preaching service. Many of those in Gospel Preaching churches looked at Mr. Moody as being peculiar in the manner he conducted these services. He earned the nickname, "Crazy Moody" for his antics.
