Up for grabs is an original promo copy of the Pat Metheny Group's "Still Life (Talking)" on glorious vinyl from 1987. Both the visual and play grades rate a conservative VG+. I play sampled the disc and detected a little surface noise at the beginnings of the first and last tracks. Otherwise, pretty quiet. The fidelity was incredible, which isn't a surprise since Robert Ludwig did the mastering. The cover also grades a VG+ with normal (minor) wear with some sticker residue that should be able to be removed with a little TLC. The pictures do a pretty good job of describing the condition of the cover. If I did my homework correctly, I believe this to be an Allied Pressing. The sound was so dynamic on this one that it made me consider liking Jazz.
