Up for grabs is an original vinyl copy of Art Blakey's Orgy In Rhythm (Volume One) in mono. If I have done my homework correctly, this is a first pressing from 1957. The record visually grades as a VG with scuffing and hairline scratches prevalent on both sides, but no feelable scratches. Actually, considering the way the record looks, it plays remarkably well. I sampled snippets on both sides of the record and didn't note any significant issues, just some surface noise. Keep in mind, I only sampled snippets, I did not play the record through it's entirety. But from what I did hear, it actually sounded pretty good, so I will also play grade this copy as VG. The cover is Fair at best. The spine has separated and has been taped. The upper spine also has a 6-inch separation. The back cover has some staining present. Overall, it might not look pretty, but it is actually a decent player. Could be a filler copy until something better turns up.
