What do the words, "Old Mountain Home Place" bring to your mind? I'm sure that for many of us it brings precious memories of days gone by. Sometimes, they were days of hard work, at the end of which we would gather around to sing some old hymns and have family prayer. Many times we would pray and ask God to "Melt Me Down In Your Loue, Lord", and it would start the "Little Wheel" to turning down in our souls. These songs and most of the others on this album were written by James McClellan., Listen to the words of warning in "Eternally Gone." James and the children do a beautiful job on this album. When James asked me to write the backliner notes for this album, I tried to ask God to help me to know the right words to say. I really don't feel as if I could do justice to this precious family as they sing these lovely songs of faith and love, but I hope these songs will start the "Fire In Your Bones", and give you a determination to say, "I'm Gonna Hold On." \Ne can't go back, maybe, to the old home place, but we can press on to the end of the way, and we'll have a brand new home at the end of the way. THE WILSON FAMILY A special appreciation to Bill Wilson of the Wilson Family, for playing the lead guitar. JAMES, KITTY, VICKY, RONNIE
