The time has come for me to part with my 55 year old Beatles collection. This collection consists of LP's, 45's, picture sleeves, EP's, 12" singles, picture discs, sealed LP's, test pressings, acetates, promos, box sets, and CD's from the US and the UK. The collection also includes vinyl and CD's from John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Apple artists. There are numerous rarities in this collection. The vast majority of the vinyl is in NM- to NM condition; I tried not to acquire anything with a grade below that, or attempted to upgrade, although a few of the extremely hard to find items I was unable to upgrade and will have a grade below that. If you are a Beatles collector, be sure to bookmark me as the vinyl I'll be listing will surely be of interest. Here we go; a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
The Beatles-"Please Please Me" LP, Parlophone PMC 1202, 1963 Mono pressing. Fourth pressing with "Recording First Published" text but no "Sold In The UK" text. Side 1 matrix number is: XEX 421-1N; side two is XEX 422-2N. "13" at 9 o'clock and "ROR" at 3 o'clock on side one dead wax; "015" at 9 o'clock and "RMP" at 3 o'clock on side two dead wax. Vinyl, VISUALLY graded by Goldmine standards is in strong VG+ condition with several very light hairlines. Labels show a couple of very light spindle marks. The cover is in VG condition with rounded corners and the back shows some age wear. Flipbacks are intact and there are two very small top and bottom seam splits at the LP opening. Includes it's original Emitex inner sleeve, in great shape. Overall a very nice example of this iconic record.
