The BEATLES LP. “The Beatles” from EAST GERMANY. This Special edition only from that country on Black lVINYL, and includes 18 Beatles songstbis edition from 1982! An interesting compilation of tracks from 1961, with Tony Sheridan, thru 1964, from The Beatles PLEASE PLEASE ME and WITH THE BEATLES albums, plus several Singles: SHE LOVES YOU, I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND, and A HARD DAYS NIGHT. And It contains several rarely chosen Beatles related songs, 4 tracks from their Polydor recordings of 1961-62, AINT SHE SWEET, CRY FOR A SHADOW ((Both are early Beatles songs without Tony Sheridan), plus 2 with Tony Sheridan doing the vocals, SWEET GEORGIA BROWN (the latet 1964 redo version) and WHY (CAN’T YOU LOVE ME AGAIN) , a song written by Tony!! This is a singularly rare album of multiple EMI and Polydor Beatles Hits. There were only 8 Beatles Polydor songs, although there were 16 total versions of those 8 songs (Ask me for details!!). This also contains Many Beatles early hits like DEVIL IN HER HEART, PS I LOVE YOU, and PLEASE MUSTER POSTMAN! It is another great HITS LP by the Beatles, released in E GERMANY on AMIGA label with worldwide unique cover, known as the “Drum Cover”, ONLY from one country! The cover was originally a bit different on AMIGA from 1965. with a green background (see photo 12)!! I bought it as an international Hits album!! Most songs on this LP of 18 songs are from Lennon-McCartney (10) and 1 from Harrison-Lennon!!! This one is still mostly produced by George Martin. Fantastic!! As always!! But the Polydor tracks (4) were produced by German Bert Kaempfert, well respected in his own right!! And now another of the worlds unique, but different, Beatles cover on a record album! A beautiful cover! It attracted me to this record immediately!! It rarely got played, note the limited spindle marks!! The vinyl is graded Goldmine EX, my highest grade for opened items!! It appears virtually UNPLAYED!! Fully shiny and no writing! Photos 1-6 are the items for sale, the record and the cover, both EX, all originals!! I started collecting worldwide Beatles various albums 55 plus years ago, when I was 12. I took great care of them from the start! I am starting to sell them off. I doubt EMI / Odeon / Polydor will ever reissue this vinyl LP again, so getting a copy under $100 is a Now or Never proposition!! This LP is an Amazing conglomeration of interesting songs!! Of course every song is a classic, even today, over 55 years later, and a Super Rarity with mixed EMI and Polydor tracks!! They all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the Boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! This is a beautiful record, quite wonderful sounding! This LP is well kept and in plastic sleeve since the 90s. I quickly learned to handle them as little as possible, especially one of these Beatles International compilation records which I thought would become rarer and greatly treasured!!
