This is part of a big auction of blues and R&B 7" records. There are many King and Chess records here with several "bonus" listings and a handful of rarities. Keep an eye out for a large Specialty Records auction in a couple of weeks then an oddball auction of mainly 60's rock 'n roll, many with picture sleeves.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1955

Notes: Red label first pressing. Tough to find 45 on this label that was a short-lived subsidiary of Atlantic. This is also the only record released by the duo Scott and Oaks. It an usual mix of jump blues, big band jazz & R&B.  Kind of an oddball vocal that seems out of time with the actual music. 

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in really nice shape with just a few spots of light surface scuffing. Looks clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with original gloss, with no tearing/stickers. This is a nice copy.
