Jazz Horizons: WORD JAZZ 1957 DLP3075 Vinyl LP (Ken Nordine, Fred Katz Group)
VG/VG Record has light scratch across side two tracks. Did not impact play during my limited test of each track. Cover has crease across upper left third and may not show well in photo. Wax paper inner sleeve has seen better days.... - see pics
Used or preowned. Untested. See photos for details. (If inserts or inner sleeves are included, they will generally be pictured. Most of the time I don't have a way to determine what the original inner sleeve is supposed to be, so please check pics closely if this is important to you.) Speaking of inner sleeves in general, the thin paper sleeves used by many record companies for vintage records are almost always split to some degree. I don't grade these and pics may not always show. Please ask if you have questions regarding condition of a particular inner.
Generally shipped via USPS Media Mail.
Check out my other listings. When possible, I'm happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases. Please message me and I can either send a consolidated invoice or refund some shipping fees if already paid (often depends on your eBay options).
GRADING - (Media/Cover) All grading is by visual inspection. Media is not tested. Grading is obviously subjective, but I do my best to be conservative in grading against the following criteria:
Media
Mint (M) Immaculate - Used for new sealed items only Near Mint (NM) Perfect Excellent (EX) Minor issue, not quite NM Very Good Plus (VG+) Light scratches, scuffs, old finger prints, micro-warp Very Good (VG) Faded, Visible small scratches, slight warps Good (G) Faded, Moderate scratches (some detectable with fingernail) moderate warps Fair (F) Heavily scratched (several detectable with fingernail) and or significant warp. Might play ok, but noticeable static, popping, skipping to be expected. More listenable in some genres than others. Poor (P) Heavy scratches, chips and/or significant warp. (If I list one in poor condition it would be something special or the accompanying sleeve is in decent condition. Most in Poor condition end up in the trash....) Cover (M) Immaculate (Never seen one in vinyl, CD occasionally) (NM) Perfect (EX) Minor issue, not quite NM (VG+) Minor Wear (VG) Average Wear For Age of Album. Might include clearly visible shelf wear, corner damage, partial splits (G) Heavy Wear. Generally looks good from the front, but sides may be damaged with splits, tears, (F) Damaged and/or heavily worn. May have some torn paper on front or back and/or tears on the sides. (P) Deteriorated and/or significantly damaged, major tears on the front or back. I generally avoid these but on occasion I come across a great album with good vinyl that just has a terrible cover.
