Mega Rare LP of Art Blakey - Orgy in Rhythm Vol 1 (Blue Note 1554 - mono) 1950s blue and white labels with 63rd St NYC address, Deep Groove, RVG and ear on both sides - NOT a current re-issue. Very rare session for drummer Blakey along with Art Taylor, Sabu, Potato Valdez and others in an extremely rare classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP is in VG/ VG+ condition with marks that will definitely make some noise and with much of the original shine - not for the audiophile, but not trashed either - still, you will hear noise on this one. The cover is in VG- (minus) condition with general age/shelf wear and splits on all three seams. There is an original Stereo sticker on the front cover. NO tape, NO writing, NO stamps. Definitely NOT perfect, but how many of these do you see anymore at any price?
The LP will be carefully packed using professional materials (over twenty years experience safely selling jazz LPs around the world).
