HOW I GRADE RECORDS:

NM= plays nearly flawlessly, only the softest noise on the lead-ins and between tracks may be acceptable.

EX= One or two minor noticable imperfections away from being considered NM, perhaps very light surface noise between tracks and lead ins and quiet passages.

VG+= Mostly EX but one or two passages resembling VG, preventing it from being considered EX.

VG= Here you start hearing ticks and light noise through the music on occasion. Noticable but not constant enough or loud enough to ruin the music or piss you off much. light to moderate surface noise in quiet passages and between tracks and lead in. Still enjoyable.

G+= Mostly VG but one or two passages resembling G, preventing it from being considered VG

G= Here the surface noise and ticks happen more often that you can hear through the music (louder than VG). Still plays without skipping. Record might not be flat or on center, and can hear heavu surface noise on quiet passages and between tracks and lead in.

G-=Mostly G but one or two passages resembling FAIR, preventing it from being considered G

Fair= Regular ticking, plenty of heavier surface noise, some popping sounds maybe a skip or two. Maybe not that flat or on center.
