ELO Out Of The Blue Double Vinyl USA 1977 Inner sleeves, Poster, Space Ship Souvenir flyers

Near Mint condition vinyl and very good gatefold outer and inner picture sleeves. Excellent souvenir sales flyers, poster and cardboard cutout spaceship model. Only ever played a few times! 1977 Electric Light Orchestra Out Of The Blue Double LP with Gatefold sleeve and more!

In the USA out of the blue was originally distributed by United Artists on it's 1977 release. However the record company Jet and the band sued United Artists for producing 'defective' copies, the covers had a notch type cut out to show, and using an escape clause moved to CBS, where the LP was repressed.

In retaliation United Artists virtually flooded the market with every single copy they had at budget prices, and these ended up in bargain bins at the same time as the full priced CBS issue was being sold.

Jet records took out a full page advertisement in all of the music papers telling people that if they didn't have a CBS record then their copy was defective. This is one of the bargain bin albums hence the cut out…..the original United Artists USA pressing.
