to see my other auctions featuring hundreds of 45s. Along with a great selection of rare northern soul, garage, funk psych, reggae & picture sleeve records, a significant portion of this collection comes from a radio station's inventory of the late '50s and includes some very rare doo wop, R&B & rockabilly in superb condition. Nothing I am offering up for auction this week is a repro, everything is an original & authentic pressing.
The Fine Print:
SHIPPING IS AUTOMATICALLY COMBINED. THERE IS NO NEED TO REQUEST AN INVOICE UNLESS YOU ARE IN CANADA.
45s are professionally cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine using high quality (alcohol-free) L'Art du Son concentrated solution with deionized water. All 45s are conservatively graded under strong artificial light. The grade assigned is a visual assessment of the playing surfaces. All pressings are vintage pressings (not modern reissues) unless otherwise noted. I pay top dollar for quality record collections (classical, jazz, rock, punk, indie, latin etc.). If you are interested in selling please contact.
I grade conservatively using the Goldmine grading scale. There is no such thing as a "mint" record, near mint (NM) is my highest grade. Grades are a visual representation of the playing surfaces.
NM > VG++ > VG+ > VG > VG- > G+ > Good > Poor
NM - Playing surfaces will look new with no sings of mishandling. Possibly unplayed.
VG++ - At most a few minor imperfections that have little to no effect on play. Possibly unplayed as well.
VG+ - Still a great-looking record with slightly more imperfections that may add some background noise in parts.
VG - Even more imperfections that may add some background noise in parts.
VG-/G+/G/P - I won't sell too many LPs that fall into these grades, but there will be a progression downwards from VG depending upon the severity of the damage. These LPs will be play-tested at least in part to ensure they don't skip.
Sleeve (if applicable) follow the same grading scale.
7" records are shipped in cruciform-style mailers with cardboard padding on each side to ensure safe arrival.
