Celebrating 20 years of the Academy Award winning film by Cameron Crowe, the Grammy® Award winning Almost Famous soundtrack receives the ultimate deluxe reissue treatment featuring forty-seven songs from the film including all five Led Zeppelin songs, Fleetwood Mac, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Neil Young and many more. Unreleased songs include “Tiny Dancer (Almost Famous Version)” newly mixed with Elton John and cast recreating the film’s emotional scene; the unique mix & edit for The Who’s “Amazing Journey / Sparks (Almost Famous Version);” Jeff Bebe’s hotel room guitar groove “Untitled;” and fresh from his personal archives, the previously unheard, newly mixed Neil Young live acoustic performance of “Cortez The Killer;” along with thirty-one more unreleased recordings. Extra bonus audio tracks include film dialog quotes, all six Stillwater songs, seven demos for the Stillwater songs by Nancy Wilson and Peter Frampton, three backstage jams by Stillwater members and twenty-one of Nancy Wilson’s brilliant and highly-sought-after original soundtrack score selections – fourteen of which weren’t in the film and have never-been-heard-before.
