This is a rare, original 1964 US gatefold LP featuring Stan Getz and Joao Gilberto titled "Getz/Gilberto." The record label is Verge Records and the catalog number is V6-8545. The vinyl is in near mint condition and comes with a new generic sleeve. The inlay is in good condition and the original inner sleeve is included. The inner sleeve has a split on top and bottom but still intact . Therefore record is kept in new generic sleeve to protect original sleeve and inner sleeve .

This LP is an iconic release from the 1960s and features a mix of Bossa Nova and Latin Jazz styles. The musicians on the album include drums by Milton Banana, piano by Antonio Carlos Jobim, guitar by Joao Gilberto, and tenor saxophone by Stan Getz. The sleeve grading is good and the record has been kept in great condition. This LP is a must-have for any jazz or Latin music collector.

Track A3 is spelled "P'ra..." on sleeve and "Para..." on label.

This is a stereo version of the U.S. release. It comes in a gatefold sleeve. Generally looks like transitional variation between early V6-8545 and later V6/8545.

Some copies have sticker on the sleeve that reads:

"V/V6-8545

Contains The Hit Record of THE GIRL FROM IPANEMA"

Label variation: catalog number on label reads as V6-8545 and the width is EQUAL the width of the word above STEREO. The fonts are not similar any other releases. But there are hyphens in between the song titles and durations. Also there are parenthesis around the BMI but A2 says ASCAP instead of BMI. Label reads: "MGM RECORDS - A DIVISION OF METRO-GOLDWYN-MAYER, INC. - Made in U.S.A."
