This has been in private collection since purchased in Memphis TN home of SUN Studios.
In 1958 after a very successful career at Sun records, Carl Perkins, who gave Rock N Roll  one of its all-time classics with “Blue Suede Shoes,” jumped to Columbia records where  his friend Johnny Cash would soon follow. He  was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter.  A rockabilly great and pioneer of rock and roll, he began his recording career at the Sun Studio,  in Memphis, beginning in 1954. Among his best-known songs are "Blue Suede Shoes", "Honey Don't",  "Matchbox" and "Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby".
