Unlike its predecessor '( )', the album's lyrics are mostly in Icelandic, with occasional elements of Vonlenska ('Hopelandic'), a scat-like form of gibberish. The songs 'Andvari', 'Gong' and 'Milano' are sung entirely in Vonlenska. The album features the singles 'Glosoli', 'Sæglópur' and 'Hoppipolla'.
