This is part of a large auction featuring R&B, doo-wop and blues singles from several small independent labels of the 1950's/early 60's.

Release: Ervin Rucker w/ Mattie Jackson & His Blues Nighthawks Orchestra – I Want To Do It / Two People In Love

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1958

Notes: Pink label promo first pressing. First single of three released by Rucker on this small Tennessee label. A-side is a great bluesy R&B track with sax and bass backing. B-side is a great track with more of a doo-wop feel and jazz sax interlude. 

Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in great shape with just one oddball cosmetic defect (maybe a pressing issue) on Two People. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps. There is a very slight bit of crackle in couple of spots. Labels are clean and nice with no writing or tears. Nice copy, but lower end of VG+ due to the weird defect.

Sleeve Condition: VG, outer sleeve is blank, but I believe original. Has some minor wrinkling and a small pencil number. No tears/splits/writing. 

All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in late-January for a rock 'n roll/rockabilly auction and a very cool selection of 78's after that.
