Uncle Charlie Bowman (a great patriot of old) started this tremendous work. Many loved and respected this great leader. Fermon and Ernest Wright with many wonderful people started singings in homes. As all good things semingly grow, they produced a radio program on WING, one of our fine local radio stations. The crowds grew and grew. Everyone loved the Bowman’s and the country was saddened when the 1st President Uncle Charlie Bowman passed on. Many presidents came after - Ernest Wright, Jim Grimsley, Curtis Rose and Hugh Grimsley. Bill Maxon and Bill Neal were vice-presidents. In 1970, Kenny Shiveley was voted in as President as the Convention had litterally disbanned for several months. Then suddenly with a lot of work the attendance increased to the largest crowd 1800. Several Television programs on Channel 7, 2 and 22, the past few years. Now our first record album. We’re sure you will receive a blessing from this as many demoniations are represented. Soloists, Duets, Trios and Quartets and the historically known M.C.S.C. choir. We’re hoping after you listen to this album, you'll want to become a part of this great work. This convention is held monthly in various churches and consists of people of all faiths, U R WELCOME. Secretary, JOY SAMMONS
