LAVERNE "CHIP" FIELDS -- Magnificent Multiplication -- ex. rare, original 1977 U.S. album. Terrific mid-1970's Private Press LP of Kiddie Rock-Pop-Soul with a similar upbeat, infectious vibe to "Multiplication Rock"/"Schoolhouse Rock". The LP was the brainchild of singer & actress Laverne "Chip" Fields who wrote all the music and sang the female lead alongside a number of children; she was in the reformed Ronnie & The Ronettes in the early 1970's. (Her daughter Kim Fields was later famous for "Facts Of Life" and appears on the back cover photo with her mother; she's very likely one of the girl voices singing on the record.) Just after this Fields wrote & recorded a mega-rare Jackson Five-type Kiddie Soul-Rock LP, "Who Am I?" On Wise Owl private label, U.S. press.
