Vinyl - NM
Jacket - NM
All of my items come from an adult collection in a smoke-free, child-free home.
Combined Shipping is available. $6 for the first LP + $1 for each additional. (EXCLUDING BOX SETS)
Sealed vinyl records will ship sealed unless requested otherwise. Open vinyl records will ship with the LP outside the jacket (in a poly sleeve) to avoid seam splits, unless requested otherwise. Some exceptions for jackets that can be smashed or uncommon releases that don’t allow for it.
[A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING]
With the USPS price hikes on postage, the rate of inflation on goods, including packing materials like boxes, bubble wrap, packing tape, etc. it’s become impossible to compete with Amazon, big box retailers and superseller accounts here. I ship in actual cardboard record mailers, so no cobbled together scraps of cardboard haphazardly taped around your valuable vinyl.
[NOTES]
If you’re new to vinyl records, welcome to the hobby! I hope you enjoyed having money before. Scroll to the bottom for a few basic things that may help you when buying records.
I’m not a record dealer, professional grader or “audiophile expert”. I just grew up with vinyl in the 80s and I’ve been collecting & enjoying records for more than 20 years.
- Dust is normal, even on brand new records because it’s in the inner sleeves.
- A little warping is also perfectly normal. The important thing is that it doesn’t skip or distort when being played.
- Adding to that, also make sure the tone arm on your turntable is properly balanced & your cartridge is adjusted. A little tedious, but it’ll save your stylus and records from damage so you can enjoy them forever-ish. YouTube is your friend when it comes to most things vinyl! There are some great, informative channels out there so you’ll have no trouble finding a favorite. You can also find a wealth of knowledge on https://www.yoursoundmatters.com
- Before you go crazy crate digging, spend a few bucks & get yourself a nice carbon fiber brush, a Discwasher style record cleaning kit, a stylus cleaner, and some new inner sleeves. The brand Invest In Vinyl have some quality rice paper lined master sleeves that don’t break the bank. To see what this stuff is for (and some other expensive stuff if you’re made of money), check out this guide: https://www.yoursoundmatters.com/top-record-cleaning-tools-every-vinyl-enthusiast-should-own/
- Enjoy the music, have fun, and don’t let the snobs rattle your cage. You’ll find that some people in the community like to trash talk stereo components & other stuff….don’t let it get to ya. Get what you can afford that sounds good to you. ‘Cause what sounds good to me might not to you. It’s subjective.
