This is part of a large auction of blues, R&B and a few rock n' roll 10" 78's. Almost all of these came from the collection of a 1950's Yale radio DJ. Across the board, they have been played very little.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Mister Ruffin - A Touch of Heaven (Just Around The Corner) / Bring It On Back
Format: 78 rpm 10" shallac record
Year: 1955
Notes: Red label first pressing. The first of a handful of records released on various West Coast labels throughout the 50's. He was also known as Riff Ruffin. Both of these are big R&B tracks. The A-side is slower and more bluesy, while the B-side is a jumpin' rocker.
Record Condition: E+, The record plays great with great sound, very little wear. It's still very shiny with just a couple of very small, light scuffs. Labels are very clean as well, no marks, tears or obvious spindle marks. Really nice copy overall.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in a box for maximum protection.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
