This is a bonus listing to my large auction of blues, R&B and rock n' roll 10" 78's. Almost all of these came from the collection of a 1950's Yale radio DJ. Across the board, they have been played very little.
Here's the info on this item:

Release: Little Walter - The Best of Little Walter

Format: 33 rpm 12" LP

Year: 1957

Notes: Black label/silver print mono first press. A compilation of Walter's work for Chess, originally issued on singles between 1952 & 1955. It has since become a seminal album in the Chicago Blues canon. Walter's harmonica work was influential on many artists that came after.

Record Condition: G+, this is kind of a tale of two sides. The A-side has numerous scattered light scuffs all around. The parts that play clean sound great, but there is some light crackle throughout, but not constant. The b-side has fewer marks, but more major ones. The crackle on average is a little worse on that side, but still very listenable. The big marks play through actually, but there is a small spot that gave me a skip a couple of times, but played through a couple of times. I'm sure some work could get it to play through consistently. The labels are pretty much the same. A-side has some light wear, but still looks clean. B-side has some small surface tears and a little more visible spindle wear. Overall, this one is listenable with some crackle, but probably more for the person who wants a more affordable first pressing for their collection.

Sleeve Condition: VG, sleeve presents very well, but does have a bump on one corner and clear tape around the edges that has started to yellow.  Without that tape (assuming no splits) this would likely be a VG+.  It has nice eye appeal all around.

All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in a box for maximum protection.

I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.

I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item.  If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
