The Seldom Scene Recorded Live At The Cellar Door Washington DC.  Recorded Right After Christmas 1974. Released 1975. Rebel Records SLP-1547 M- Local Advertising Insert Adds to this Already Exciting 2LP Set.
Below is an excerpt taken from the Rebel Records website 2019:
"One of the earliest live bluegrass albums to be issued, this remains today one of Rebel’s all-time best selling albums. Recorded at a small but popular club in Washington DC, it features the original band in its prime: John Duffey, John Starling, Tom Gray, Mike Auldridge and Ben Eldridge. With a really enthusiastic crowd (sometimes perhaps a bit too boisterous), it made for a memorable affair. This album was originally released as a 2-LP set, then later issued on 8-track tape, cassette and compact disc. The CD was recently remastered and repackaged, featuring a 12-page booklet with new notes by popular bluegrass DJ Katy Daley as well as several previously unpublished photos by DC-area photographer Carl Fleischhauer. With a great selection of songs, it remains one of the key recordings in the history of contemporary bluegrass!"
