I AM CURRENTLY SELLING RECORDS FROM LEGENDARY COLLECTOR ROBERT CRUMB’S RECORD COLLECTION AND MY OWN. I WILL NOTE WHO’S IT COMES FROM ABOVE.
You are buying from lifelong record collector and record seller John Heneghan. I have years of experience grading & selling 78’s and pride myself in conservative grading and fast shipping.
I have done several CD compilations of old 78 records including “Baby How Can It Be?” for the Dust-To-Digital label and “Wait For Me” for East River Records. I play in an old-time music group East River String Band along with my wife Eden Brower and friends Robert Crumb & Ernesto Gomez. Crumb also draws our covers for our LPs & CDs. Please check out our eBay store “edenandjohn” for all of our releases currently in print for sale as well as limited edition signed Crumb prints and some of our LPs hand signed by Crumb when available. Check out our website and “like” our Facebook page. Also checkout John’s monthly old-time music podcast, John’s Old Time Radio Show where pre-war 78 rpm record collectors spin their favorite discs. Special guests include R. Crumb, Robert Armstrong, Don Kent and many many more! available wherever you listen to your favorite podcasts. ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT NONE OF MY PHOTOS HAVE BEEN PHOTOSHOPPED OR ENHANCED IN ANY WAY. So many sellers today use heavy contrast to make their records look cleaner than they are but not me. You can tell when the shellac is really dark. Also if the record is graded V- but the photo of the record looks E+, that photo has been altered. My goal is to give the buyer the utmost confidence in what they're bidding on so please listen to the clip of the record playing in the video provided. Thanks!
- JOHN HENEGHAN

VG+ = an average copy, signs of use, some groove wear but music still above noise
VG = wear, scuffing, light scratches. music equal to noise
VG- will play but is quite worn. noise louder than music
G+ = a playable copy but very very worn, noise much louder than music
G = plays through, rough noise extremely loud
