Details: First pressing. This was pianist Billy Taylor personal copy! Review Copy stamped and also has Billy Taylor rubber stamp, and Billy Taylor's autograph. Signature is consistent with another one I've seen, I have essentially no doubt this is his signature and was his personal promotional copy.  West 63rd labels, deep groove, RVG, Ear. This lp has been cleaned on a Degritter ultrasonic cleaner.


Record condition:  Visually side 1 is VG+ and side 2 is VG. Side 1 has a nice gloss and just a few light marks, well kept. Side 2 is a nice VG but has 2 longer but light marks, one speck in the pressing which cannot be felt and thankfully does not affect play. Play graded in full. Each side has 2-3 brief passages with ticks, never long and never loud. Other than this both sides play a beautiful VG++. Great clarity, very little background noise is noticed. Makes a superb play copy!

Cover: Strong VG. Close to VG+. Shows 2" of lower seam sear but no splits. Small tear on upper back cover slick, times written next to tracks. Back cover has Billy Taylor's autograph and personal rubber stamp.

NM- THE RECORD SURFACE RETAINS A HIGH GLOSS, PERHAPS ONE OR TWO EXTREMELY FAINT MARKS, STILL EXTREMELY CLEAN 

EX   ESSENTIALLY A NM- SOUNDING COPY, BUT MIGHT SHOW A SMALL NUMBER OF VERY FINE SURFACE MARKS.  STILL VERY CLEAN VISUALLY AND DYNAMIC AUDIBLY.

VG++ THE RECORD RETAINS MUCH OF ITS ORIGINAL SHINE, FEW LIGHT SURFACE MARKS AND OR LIGHT SCRATCHES MAY BE NOTED ON FAIRLY CLOSE EXAMINATION
