Next up in the ongoing clearance of my collection of music accumulated over 40+ years I am starting to list some more of my collection, there will be many rarities coming up so check back for more in the coming weeks.
Next up is The Beatles - Please Please Me. Released in 1963 by Parlophone Records cat no PMC1202. Original UK 1st press with black and gold labels. XEX421-N, XEX422-N.
Very early 1 O/ 1 GG matrix codes, this places it in the 2nd batch after the 1 M copies, so within the first few thousand copies produced. Dick James credits.
1st press sleeve with right aligned Angus McBean credit starting underneath the s.
Please read the description and check all the photos and video regarding condition.
This is a very well played copy, labels both have very major scuffing. Vinyl is in G condition, plenty of surface marks, a couple of feelable scratches.
Plays through with 3 skips that I counted have captured 2 of them on the video. Does not stick anywhere and plays amazingly well for the most part with some crackle and pops here and there.
Sleeve is in G+ condition, fair amount of wear, the front is actually more like VG no writing or major damage, edge wear and corner bumps, small bit of tape residue bottom right.  Some tape repairs to top and bottom flaps at rear which also has some writing and stains as per the photos. The inner is in VG+ at least just some light tanning.
If you want an early genuine copy for your collection and can't afford the £2000+ this copy would go for in Ex condition then this is the one for you.

I am conservatively under grading these listings, but all have been play tested using Sennheiser dynamic head phones and all items listed play through with no skips or jumps and minimal background noise, that does not interfere with the music at normal volumes. Any exceptions to this will be noted, the pictures were taken on a high definition camera that form part of the description so please check and ask if not sure. Please ask me about any individual item before making a purchase.
The make offer button is there, feel free to make an offer on any item, at worst I will say no. Some of the items I am listing are very, very rare and the opportunity to add these to your collection can be few and far between. Royal Mail next day by 1pm insured service is included in all prices for UK bidders for all items over £50, items under £50 will be sent 2nd class signed for. All items are available for worldwide shipping via Ebay Global Shipping. International buyers please check all relevant shipping charges/import duties prior to purchase as new regulations following Brexit have affected many countries.
Positive feedback is always left after it has been received.
Please check my other listings for more rarities. Thanks for looking and happy bidding.
