The trio consists of: Lee Smith, Lead; Charlie Smith, Jr., Bass-Tenor; Iva Nell Smith, Alto. They have sung throughout the hills and valleys of Scott County and parts of Tennessee. This trio enjoys singing the old hymns of Jesus Christ our Lord and the songs of our dear Mothers and Dads. We hope as you listen to this record, you will get a spiritual blessing, as they receive a great blessing in spending their time singing. We hope that we will be able to all sing together in Heaven around God’s White Throne. They wish to dedicate this album to their mothers and all the mothers throughout our area. The picture was taken at the Smith boys’ homeplace in Weber City, Virginia. Their Mother is in the background.
