BEATLES "WHITE ALBUM" MONO 1968 VINYL 0040794 NO EMI ALL 4 + PICS ,SPACER,POSTER
Initial numbered edition with top opening G & L gatefold sleeve, black inners, poster & 4 colour prints, dark green Apple labels with Ⓟ & "Sold In The UK...." text. This was released in error omitting the text 'E.M.I. Recording' on the label, so a second version The Beatles was promptly released with the corrected labels.

About this copy:
A complete set, plays great, - low '00' start number; great mono sound.
Matrix / Runout (Side A runout, variant 1): XEX 709-1 Matrix / Runout (Side B runout, variant 1): XEX 710-1 Matrix / Runout (Side C runout, variant 1): XEX 711-1 Matrix / Runout (Side D runout, variant 1): XEX 712-1
The Sleeve - Gateflod, top opening, low number '0040794', has slight discolouration on top edge and light edgewear, a little creasing here and there, very clean and shiny. Inside gatefold there are some light marks, but again very clean. The spine has some laminate lifting but is legible - I have graded VG+, but it is close to excellent in my opinion. Please see all the photos.
The inner sleeves: - Very light fraying - NO SPLITS, do not look like they have been used much...
The poster and portrait pictures: - both have a little foxing, no pin holes and a very rare SPACER!
The Labels: - No major marks or writing on all 4 labels, some very light spindle marks from past usage
The Vinyl: - All 4 sides only display the very faintest of wispy marks, LP2 has 2 or 3 slightly more noticeable ones, but there is no real impact on playback, no jumps, sticks, loud pops - a great listen! Matrix 709-1, 710-1, 711-1, 712-1 Mother/Stamper: 5 GM, 7 GL ,
1R , 2R
The Listening Experience: - side one = light crackle in some run ins, excellent side two = a pop near the end, very light crackle in places, excellent side three = hardly any background noise, excellent side four = same as three, excellent!
