Label/Catalog #: Blue Note BLP 4205  
Mono/Stereo: Mono
Details: First pressing from 1965. NY USA labels, Van Gelder, Ear. Has a double struck label, as seen in photos. The surface label is clean and lays flat, and is still attached on the bottom and left portions. Could easily be re-glued, but that would take away its unique charm. Comes with an original Blue Note inner sleeve. This lp has been cleaned on a Degritter ultrasonic cleaner.


Record condition:  Side 1 is NM-, superb! Side 2 is EX with some sleeve traces, still full gloss and beautifully kept. Play graded in full. Side 1 plays NM, essentially perfect. Side 2 has some minor ticks during the opening bass solo, the rest is NM. "Lazy Afternoon" plays completely clean, one of the best copies I've heard. Essentially perfect player outside of the mentioned ticks, outstanding copy of one of the finest jazz albums ever made!

Cover: VG++.  Two flaws away from NM. Has a tape stain on upper corner and 1" of wear at corner of top seam. The rest is nearly perfect. Front is clean and back is bright white. Fantastic set!
