I have for sale a pre-owned Black Sabbath Vol. 4 12 inch Vinyl LP Warner Brothers Records BS 2602 1972. I have played this record completely through and found it to have no skips. I give the vinyl a VG rating due to the fact that there are visual scuffs and scratches and audible surface noise while playing. I feel that the jacket is in G condition due to the staining, tape, and writing. This record comes with the original sleeve. I have also included a plain white paper sleeve. I will combine shipping on all of my items. Thanks for looking and good luck.
Very Good (VG) Many of the defects found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG record. Surface noise will be evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a songs intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear will start to be more noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect sound.
Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
Good(G) Good Plus(G+) Good does not mean bad. A record in Good or Good+ condition can be put onto a turntable and will play through without skipping. But it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear. The Jacket will have obvious signs of wear and tear including writing, seam splits, staining, and ring wear.
