Condition and details below:
The Sleeve - top loading , low numbered 0008786; intact, no rips or tears, a few light marks , nothing major; some rubbing on spine but it looks good and is readable. Inside the gatefold is relatively clean, has some fading / discolouration/ringwear , nice clear photos of the fab four...
The original black inners are intact, a few creases only and in great condition all round
The lyric poster is hardly used, nice, clean and no ripsThe 4 portrait photos are clean, unused, excellent condition
The Vinyl LPs:
The labels on all 4 sides are great, no writing, slight nick on side 2 and KT on side 4; NO 'EMI RECORDING' mentioned as per the above reference
Playback all round is superb - see details below...
Side one - has very light harlines/wear and plays with some light pop and crackle; mostly noticeable in the middle tracks and between songs. Overall all 8 tracks sound great throughout, no jumps or loud interference and a great listen...
Side two - there is a more prominent mark across the middle section which creates a few 'ticks' , only really noticeable between tracks B5/B6, everything else sounds nice and clear, even blackbird ! Julia, being a quiet one, is a little more crackly - a few track run-ins and quiet bits do have some light crackling, as expected...good mono sound overall
Side three (mother/stamper inidicators 1/A ) - LP2 has a lot less signs of usage, I would suggest not been played as much. All tracks sound fantastic, with only a smidge of crackle in between...brilliant
Side four - Pretty much the same story as side 3, exceptional sound quality in genersal, hardly played...some ticks and crackle between a few (e.g. start of Honey Pie)...great to listen to.
Mother / Stamper indicators:side one - 4/GHside two - 2 (6?)/RGside three - 1/Aside four - 4/OD
