For auction - Jethro Tull Living In The Past double vinyl LP First Pressing.
***Signed by Ian Anderson, Martin Barre and Clive Bunker***
I purchased this copy in 2012 from this platform from the man who obtained the signatures of the three Tull members. He provided a photograph of Ian Anderson signing the album (see attached photo)
Regardless of the previoous seller's grading of the record, I have played the album and grade it as an overall VG+. There is some crackle to the initial run-ins and some faint crackle in the silent parts between tracks wioth the odd faint pop here and there.
Below is the exact wording used in the original listing of this album by way of authenticating the signatures on it....
"JETHRO TULL LIVING IN THE PAST WITH SIGNED BOOKLET STILL FIRMLY ATTACHED IT IS SIGNED BY IAN ANDERSON, MARTIN BARRE AND CLIVE BUNKER. IAN ANDERSON SIGNED THIS ALBUM AT NEWCASTLE CITY HALL 17/04/12(SEE PICS)

With reference to the condition of the album, I would concur with what the original seller says in the above text. He does say that he has not play-tested the vinyls. I have, and as I state, I would grade them as VG+. There is some crackle to the track run-ins and some faint crackle and the odd faint pop here and there in-between cracks. The cellotape repair is alluded to above and on that basis alone I would grade the covers as VG+... though that would appear to be the only noticable issue. See photographs.
The vinyls originally were housed within the in-built inners of the booklet were kept in seperate generic inners when I purchased the album. Upon purchase I transfered the vinyls to Mobile Fidelity anti-static inner sleeves to keep them as well as could be.
The seller provided me with photographic avidence of Mr Anderson signing the album at the time and though he did not provide similar photos of Clive Bunker and Martin Barre's signings, it wouldn't make any sense at all for these not to be genuine given that the album is signed by Ian Anderson himself. I have enclosed an A4 glossy photo of the Ian Anderson signing the album, along with a text document of the listing quote from the original seller which I have typed above.
I will post the album to the winning bidder in a stiff MusicMax LP mailer within 2 days of payment.
***Postage will be free within the UK***

Thanks for looking!
