This sale is for a used copy of the Plasmatics album Beyond The Valley of 1984. This is the original 1981 release with a gatefold cover on Stiff Records.

If you are looking at this sale, you probably do not need me to describe the band or this album. You know this is a heavy mix of punk rock with a touch of metal. It rocks and is meant to be played loud!!

This album is open and has been played. I also play test any open album I list for sale. This album plays fine without a lot of excess surface noise. There is some which is to be expected in a used album, especially one that is almost 44 years old. I sometimes hear a bit of noise on a just opened brand new album. There is not enough of the snaps crackles and pops to take away from enjoying the music.This album plays and sounds really good. So if you like the music of this band,you will find this album a great listen.

The vinyl is not mint but looks pretty good and it’s clean. There are not any deep scratches or major scuffs on the vinyl. There are a couple of very light spots where you can see a bit of a blemish, but nothing you can feel or that diminishes the sound.

I know how picky is vinyl addicts are so I am very conservative in my rating of albums. So I never rate any album I sell over VG+ unless it’s sealed. I am not a professional record dealer and I rate based on my eyes and ears, and not by official goldmine standards even though I am familiar with them. I will not sell any album that I would not be happy purchasing myself. I would be very happy if I was buying it.

The albums cover is in really good shape for its age as well. It’s very clean without and rips, tears or major stains. Please see the photos.

This is a great 80s album that you do not see every day, especially in this good looking and playing condition. This is a 43 year old classic and would be appreciated by any fan of the Plasmatics, Wendy O Willams or this style of music.

It is a great addition to any 1980s punk or punk metal or just rock vinyl collection.
