I'm back with a nice auction of 50's blues & doo-wop 45s with a few really cool 60's soul records mixed in. There are several small labels represented here as well as some promos and several real rarities as well as early singles by more popular groups.

Release: Jimmy Rogers & His Rocking Four - You're The One / Blues All Day Long

Format: 45 rpm 7" vinyl record

Year: 1956

Notes: Blue & silver label first pressing. Not a bootleg or repress. This is the last of 7 records Rogers recorded for Chess in the mid-to-late 1950's. Two fantastic tracks here with great harmonica and "loose" guitar work. Great representation of the classic Chicago sound by one of the most overlooked artists.

Record Condition: VG+, The record itself is in great shape & plays very well, just one tiny hairline on All Day side. Very clean with good original gloss. Plays great with excellent sound. Labels are clean with no writing/tears but do have some scuffing which is common for these early Chess records. Really good condition overall though and absolutely stellar play copy.

All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in an oversize box for maximum protection.
