I'm back with a nice auction of 50's blues & doo-wop 45s with a few really cool 60's soul records mixed in. There are several small labels represented here as well as some promos and several real rarities as well as early singles by more popular groups.
Here's the info on this item:
Release: Eddie "Cleanhead" Vinson - Lonesome Train / Person to Person
Format: 45 rpm 7" vinyl record
Year: 1952
Notes: Blue label first pressing. Earlier single from Vinson, whose music was more R&B leaning and, frankly, more interesting in the early 50's than his later 50's stuff. Great backing banjo on the A-side. This is one of the tougher 50's King 7"s to track down.
Record Condition: VG+, The record itself is in nice shape & plays very well, no scuffs or scratches. Very clean with good original gloss. Plays great with excellent sound. Labels are also very clean with no writing/tears/scuffs. Top notch condition overall, borderline NM.
Sleeve Condition: VG-, has some wrinkles and a small pencil number in the corner. No splits, but there is a tear above the hole. Still displays well overall.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. I am an experienced grader and use the VJM grading system, but please see pictures as so much of this is subjective. These will be shipped in sleeves in a cardboard sandwich in an oversize box for maximum protection.
I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.
I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item. If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
