rare German first press limited edition 2LP set released on PRIVATE PRESS "FURTWANGLER SOCIETY" label with catalognumber F669056 / 57. 

Beautiful foldout cover with fantastic artwork, original inner sleeves, and vinyl all AS NEW in perfect NEARMINT / MINT condition - vinyl looks unplayed!  ... I should grade this STONE MINT but will stay conservative.

Famous performances by Wilhelm Furtwangler conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with superb audiophile soundquality ... see photos.

Note:   The "Societe Wilhelm Furtwangler" LP issues were limited editions available to Societe members only and not sold on the open market. About 40 editions were released between 1969 and 1988; year of issue is shown in the first two digits of the serial number.There should be about 400 or 1,000 records pressed per edition" ...
