Pink Floyd - The Wall
very rare UK first pressing 2LP with early 5U 3U 3U 3U matrix, first edition inner sleeves and foldout cover complete complete with Pink Floyd sticker!!
rare UK first press vinyl 2LP set released 1979 on HARVEST RECORDS stereo label with catalognumber SHDW 411.
Yes, this one of the very early UK pressings with A -5U / B -3U / A -3U / B -3U matrix numbers stamped into the trail-off vinyl, and band members not listed yet on the inside cover. It only says "Words and Music - Roger Waters. Except..." and "Produced By David Gilmour, Bob Ezrin, Roger Waters" ... collectors and audiophiles alike will know that re-pressings added band member credits and had other minor alterations.
The beautiful gatefold cover comes complete with the plastic Pink Floyd sticker that adheres to the sleeve, but is not permantly stuck on.
The inner sleeves are on thick card with rounded corners and a nine-inch thumb notch at the top, with the catalog number SHDW 411, international catalogue number OC-158 63410, and the UK catalogue number SHSP 4111 in the lower right corner.
Both vinyl are in top NEARMINT / MINT condition - I playgraded this one on high-end equipment with Koetsu Rosewood pickup system, and can confirm stunning audiophile sound quality.
Don't miss this very rare UK first edition Pink Floyd masterpiece in fantastic condition. I can only agree with a fellow record seller here on ebay who recently described this one so well:
"Released in 1979, "The Wall" stands as one of Pink Floyd's most iconic and influential albums, a sprawling concept piece that delves into themes of isolation, alienation, and the human psyche. The quality of this first pressing LP is unmatched, capturing the raw power and intricacies of Pink Floyd's visionary soundscapes ... this LP is a collector's dream, a tangible embodiment of the band's artistic vision and technical prowess."
