ISAAC HAYES - JOY / NM (lower left cutout - in shrink) / eqs 5007 (enterprise, stock white sleeve - quadraphonic).  -

A quick note on my grading system - In the description directly above this line I list: artist & record title / wax condition (cover comments) / serial number (record label).  The framework for my grading system is the Goldmine Record Album Price Guide. My amended scale goes like this:

Mint (M) = sealed.
Near Mint (NM) = near perfect condition in every way.
Very Good plus (VG+) = very good condition with little or no sign of wear.
Very Good (VG) = very good condition with slight signs of surface wear.
Very Good minus (VG-) = very good condition with some minor scratches here and there.
Good plus (G+) = good shape, no skipping, but you’ll hear some scratching.
Good (G) = quite a bit of wear, possible skipping.

If a record rates below G, which mind you is a very playable grade, I will not sell it.  No record, unless sealed, warrants the M or NM grade, except for extremely well kept vinyl.  I am a play-grade seller, and my grades are tough but honest.  I would rather grade lower than higher and my grades – often VG-‘s, reflect that theory.  If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures of a particular item please email me.
