Silver Missiles And Nightingales is the first and only album by the collaboration between and (under the moniker "The Suicide Twins"). The name of the album was originally supposed to be the title of Hanoi Rocks' (McCoy and Suicide's former band) 1984 album , but the name was changed at the last minute.

When it was first released, Silver Missiles And Nightingales didn't fare very well, because acoustic rock wasn't popular at the time, but the album's reception has since grown. The album is hailed as a great showcase of McCoy and Suicide's playing style and McCoy's writing talent. After the album's release, McCoy and Suicide (then known as Nasty Superstar) toured in Finland under the moniker "The Suicide Twins", until disbanding that same year (1986).

A NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING COST

I am shipping from Canada, postal code V8C2J1 and will be using Canada Post to ship. You will be charged the actual cost of shipping PLUS handling (See below.) In most cases, I recommend the EXPEDITED PARCEL option so that you will get a tracking # in Canada and the USA. However, you will be quoted several options. The actual shipping cost of 1 record is usually about 10 to 15 dollars in Canada and to the USA. The more albums you buy, the less s/h cost per record you will pay.  Send me your full address for s/h quotes.

For packages to other parts of the world (International/overseas destinations) there is usually not a tracking # available, however, I will take a picture of the package in the hands of the post office worker as it leaves here. Please be prepared to wait up to 2 months for overseas destinations if you choose surface parcel. Send me your full address for s/h quotes on multiple items.

A NOTE ABOUT HANDLING COST

The handling charge is $3.00 for the first auction item and $1.00 for each additional auction item up to $10.00 max. for handling up to 20 items...Then the calculation starts over again.. So, if you purchased 5 albums, the cost for shipping MIGHT be about $15.00 then I would add the handling charges like this 15 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 = $22.00 total s/h. If you purchase 20 albums, the shipping cost MIGHT be about $35.00 then I would add the handling charges like this 35 + 3 + 7(7X1) = $45.00 total s/h. If you purchase 21 albums, the shipping cost MIGHT be about $35.00 then I would add the handling charges like this 35 + 3 + 7 (7X1) + 3 (first item of the next 20) = $48.00 total s/h.
