Mint - Only mint album as far as I’m concerned is a sealed album and never been played
VG++ - Has been opened and played but has no scratches or marks and looks new
VG+ - Has slight marks or scratches but does not affect play
VG - Rarely do I see an album in this grade unless it’s rare and an exceptional album.  Has marks and scratches but still plays well

Mint - Unopened sealed album
VG++ - Looks new with no creases or wear marks
VG+ - Shows slight ring wear, shelf wear, or creases
VG - Shows significant wear but is still intact
