This NEAR MINT 1st UK MONO pressing 2-EP set dates from initial December 1967 release on the black/silver Parlophone label: MMT 1
All labels carry the 'Sold in UK...' text with 'The Gramophone Co..' worded rims
The 'KT' purchase tax code is present in the centre of the side 1 & 4 labels
Matrix numbers: 7XCE 18435-1/4-1 & 7XCE 18436-1/7-2
Stamper codes: 9/MM, 3/TL & 9/OP, 8/MO
Housed in an outer laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed 24-page colour booklet cover, with original white die-cut inners

Labels: Disc 1: EXCELLENT + Disc 2: NEAR MINT
All are clean with a few scuffs on the labels 1 & 2 but only 1/2 faint spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Pristine, factory-fresh playing surfaces which apart from a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp, are flawless.
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Both discs appear to have been played only once or twice at most. All tracks play cleanly & clearly during my playcheck with nothing more than a trace of low-level vinyl background on the run-ins. Tough to upgrade this one.
Booklet/Cover: EXCELLENT +
The vibrant front panel is glossy & unscratched with just a touch of shelfwear to the corner tips
Inside, all pages inside are clean & fully intact with no rust or wear to the staples on the blue central lyric sheet
There is some minor wear to the upper edge of the rear panel & a small bruise to the upper left corner. All seams and the spine are smooth and totally unworn.
Inner-sleeves: NEAR MINT
Each record is professionally & securely packaged in custom-made record mailing boxes with the disc removed from the cover.
