On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Kinks called "Preservation Act One" and is an ORIGINAL 1973 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press RCA label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE KINKS RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1973 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS AN ULTRA RARE 'PROMOTIONAL ONLY' RADIO STATION COPY - SENT OUT TO THE RADIO STATION WAY BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  THIS LP WAS SENT OUT TO A RADIO STATION WAY BEFORE THE RELEASE DATE BY RCA - IN THE HOPE THAT IT WOULD USED FOR PLAYING & PROMOTING THE LP!!!!  AND AS EXPECTED - IT WAS MARKED & CATALOGUED BY THE RADIO STATION, USING NUMBER STICKERS & ALSO MARKED 'LCR' ON THE COVER & LABELS!!!!  MOST IMPORTANTLY IT ALSO CAME WITH A VERY INTERESTING 'PRESS ONLY' INSERT - THAT WAS NEVER USED FOR GENERAL RELEASE!!!!  THE 'KINKS INFORMATION DESK' PROMOTIONAL INSERT GIVES IMFORMATION ABOUT THE BAND, THE CONTACT DETAILS, THE LP ITSELF - AND MOST INTERESTINGLY HOW THIS LP FOLLOWS ON FROM THE KINKS GROUNDBREAKING LP 'VILLAGE GREEN PRESERVATION SOCIETY' IN 1968!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET, WITH ONLY A TINY HANDFUL OF COPIES EVER BEING MADE LIKE THIS!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION - AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1973 UK 'EARLIEST' PRE-RELEASE 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS RCA LABEL, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 1E/1E MATRIX ENDINGS, ULTRA RARE 'PROMOTIONAL ONLY' PRESS INFORMATION SHEET, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'LYRIC' INSERT, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'CLOUT & BAKER' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL RCA UK 1st Pressing from 1973 and is in GREAT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is SF 8392 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press RCA label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing (apart from the clearly mentioned 'LCR' radio station marking & number sticker!), and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has only 2 TINY surface marks, NO hairlines, NO scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays almost as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO skips, barely ANY clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound in places!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must visually grade Very Good++++ if not better - with the playing grade only VERY slightly less (for the reason detailed above!)!!!!  BRILLIANT RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in what looks to be its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  THE ORIGINAL 'PICTURE/LYRIC' INSERT &  ULTRA RARE 'KINKS INFORMATION DESK' PROMOTIONAL ONLY INSERT ARE BOTH IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Clout & Baker' Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO splits, NO edge wear (apart from some almost INVISIBLE 'touching in' traces!), NO spinal wear (PERFECT side words!), only VERY slight rubbing towards the VERY bottom (NONE elsewhere!), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO sticker marks, and NO writing (apart from a TINY 'Radio Station' number in the top right corner & 'LCR' Radio Station marking - as stated above!)!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, some typical ringwear, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good(Minus) if not Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) - and is still a VERY solid & presentable cover indeed!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
