見本盤 Sample Version

Various Artists - Love Me (1985 Japanese MCA Records Label 10-track Promo/Sample original soundtrack vinyl LP for the Steven Spielberg 'Back To The Future' movie. Also includes Back in Time by Huey Lewis, plus tracks by Eric Clapton, Lindsey Buckingham and Etta James, in a picture sleeve complete with illustrated 4-page Japanese text biography/lyric insert, and an extra wide picture obi-strip, L-13178).

Record -- VG+ : This Vinyl shines like glass, it has no visible scratches, scuffs or marks, for some reason it skips 2/3 times on the first track on side 1, on close inspection I don’t know why this happens as there are no scratches. The rest of the tracks sound wonderful when played. It has clean company Promo/Sample labels on each side, these have three sets of Kanji (Japanese writing) which say 発売 (When On Sale), 見本盤 Sample Version and 非売品 Article Was Not For Sale to the Public.
Cover -- VG+ : Heavy Card cover, this has medium/heavy shelf wear and a messy front top left corner. On the rear top left corner is a white rectangular sticker with black writing; this says that this is a 見本品 Sample. On the back is a track listing and credits in English.
Obi Strip -- VG : The Obi Strip has various nicks and tears on the front left side, there is a small piece (15mm x 50mm) missing on the front top left corner. All information on here is in Japanese.
Insert -- 1 Insert : One Original Insert which is 2 pages 4 sides long in a gatefold fashion, on here is a track listing and the lyrics in Japanese and English and has information in Japanese, with some pictures from the movie. This has no rips, tears or creases, but has yellowed through age and humidity.
