I have been Collecting Original Beatles Records ,Memorabilia & Ephemera  since 1962.  Due to my continued poor health I have  decided to sell various  items  from my  Extensive Private Collection.

Please Note; In my opinion the grading of vinyl records and sleeves is at best subjective                      So with this in mind I will always err on the side of caution with my                      Grading’s. Which are based on the ‘Record Collector‘ UK Grading’s                         There seems to be far too many  vinyl records being offered for sale                                           that are NOT realistically graded                                                                                                    

DISCS;  -  LABELS ,                EXCELLENT   ( All Four Labels )
All four disc labels are in nice condition with all the lettering in as new condition. Under my unforgiving double halogen desk lamp they show just some  spindle trails,  there is virtually no sign of spindle hole wear. They show NO writing, stickers or sticker removal marks  
         
DISCS;    VISUAL;

        Disc 1,                       VERY GOOD /  VERY GOOD
        Disc 2,                       VERY GOOD /  VERY GOOD
In normal daylight both discs show a  high gloss black sheen  Again under my double halogen lamp both discs show some stylus / hairline marks NONE  of which are deep or feelable.

                          DISCS;   AUDIO,     Disk 1.   EXCELLENT     /    EXCELLENT                                     Disk 2.   VERY GOOD +  /    VERY GOOD
During one careful play of all four sides using a dedicated lightweight stereo cartridge the overall audio was very respectable. Sides 1 & 2 played with just a little very light static and a few occasional dust pops. Sides 3 played with a little more light static mainly on tracks 3 & 7 but nothing overpowering. The main audio negative was on Side 4 which had more dust pops and  light static than the other three sides


 BLACK INNER SLEEVES ;            EXCELLENT  /  VERY GOOD
Both original black inner sleeves are in repectable condition. One shows NO seam splits or tears to the die cut circle, just a couple of nicks  to the top open edge and a little creasing. The other original black inner has no side seam splits , it has a neat tape repair to part  of the bottom seam and just a very small nick to the die cut circle/


 ( LIPSTICK ) LYRIC / POSTER;     VERY GOOD
The original Lipstick lyric poster shows splits to the edges of the fold lines and some overall Age toning but it is free from any pin holes, tape or tape residue.

PORTRAIT PHOTO’S                     EXCELLENT 
All four portrait photographs are in very nice condition.


SLEEVE; 
 The outer sleeve is the original Garrod & Lofthouse  laminated dual - flipback sleeve  with embossed ‘ THE BEATLES ‘ and the unique Number 041768 to the front panel.


Front Panel;                   EXCELLENT  MINUS 
The front still retains a nice high gloss sheen,  It shows a few very light small creases and a small amount of light rubbing to the corners. When angled into strong light there is a very light disc impression visible and it shows some light age toning.
The side and bottom seams are in EXCELLENT  condition and show NO seam splits or heavy rubbing. The top open edges are in EXCELLENT condition and show just some very light wear but  NO rips,tears or splits. .
Spine;                              VERY GOOD +
The Spine is in very respectable condition , it is still very firm and uncrushed.  It shows just a very small amount of laminate lift and a little age toning. .
Inner Gatefold                EXCELLENT 
The Inner gatefold is in very nice condition and shows it’s original high gloss sheen,  The flipbacks are very firm and show just a little sign of wear, the inner spine is fully in tact with NO splits.

Back Panel;                    VERY GOOD +    The back panel is again in very nice condition with a nice glossy sheen . It shows one corner dink to the bottom left corner and just a very few light  marks/ age toning but no rips tears or heavy wear.
 
SLEEVE GRADED OVERALL AS A STRONG VERY GOOD PLUS

   In my opinion this is a respectable overall example of this Beatles Album
