EXCELLENT (E)  Very clean, glossy surface with no visible signs of wear; may have a few light rubs and handling marks; may also have some superficial or very light scratches

 

EXCELLENT MINUS (E-)  Clean, glossy surface with some light visible wear; may have some light to moderate rubs and light scuffs; may also have a few light scratches

 

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+)  Reasonably clean and glossy with moderate wear; may have some moderate rubs and scuffs; may also have a few light to moderate scratches

 

VERY GOOD (VG)  Some gloss remaining with moderate to heavy wear; may also have significant moderate or heavy scratches and moderate scuffs

 

VERY GOOD MINUS (VG-)  Surface becoming dull and likely to have significant surface noise from heavy wear, heavy scratches and scuffs
